How to Play Munch Run

Munch Run is a free online endless-runner where you guide a hungry little monster across a cozy kitchen counter. The longer you survive, the further you travel and the higher your score climbs. It plays right in your browser — no download, no sign-up — on phones, tablets, and computers.

Controls

One button does it all. On a phone or tablet, tap the screen; on a computer, press the Spacebar (or the Up arrow). Tap once to hop, and tap again in mid-air for a second jump to clear taller obstacles. Hold the button while you have the chili-pepper rocket to fly. Tap the speaker icon any time to mute or unmute the sound.

The Goal

Jump over the soda cans, forks, rolling eggs, and dive-bombing bugs that get in your way. Gobble donuts, cupcakes, and candies for points, and eat several in a row to build a YUM combo for bonus points. Your final score combines the distance you run with the snacks you collect, and your best score is saved automatically so you can keep chasing a new record.

Power-Ups

• 🌶️Rocket — hold to fly and smash through anything in your path.
• 🧲Magnet — pulls every nearby snack and power-up toward you.
• 🫧Bubble — a shield that absorbs one hit, then pops.
• 🐌Slow-Mo — the world crawls so you can thread tight gaps.
• 🍩Frenzy — floods the kitchen with a wave of bonus snacks.
• ⭐2× Score — doubles all the points you earn while it lasts.

Power-ups stack, so grabbing several at once turns a good run into glorious chaos. Watch the timer pips at the top of the screen to see how long each one lasts.

Tips for a High Score

Save your double-jump for the tall forks and flying bugs. Chain snacks together without missing to keep your combo alive. Be greedy with the magnet, and time your rocket to barrel through a cluster of obstacles. As you run, the kitchen drifts from morning to night and through the seasons — pure atmosphere, but a nice way to gauge how long you've lasted.
